Yesica Prado is a multimedia journalist based in Berkeley, CA. She best works with photography, video, audio and long-form writing. Her current reporting covers stories of Art, Culture, Environmental Justice, Immigration, Indigenous Communities and Poverty. 

 

Yesica is a first-generation Mexican immigrant and has a Masters in Journalism from UC Berkeley's Graduate School of Journalism. She has a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Photography from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

 

When Yesica is not snapping pictures or writing, she enjoys painting, hiking and riding her bike on an endless road.
